## Installation

### 1. Open it in your browser

The editor runs straight from GitHub Pages. Nothing to install or sign up for.

Open Tier List Studio: https://openrootdev.github.io/tierlist-studio/

### 2. Or run it from the download

Download the ZIP from the release, extract it and open index.html in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. You can also clone main, which holds only the app.

Release v1.0.0: https://github.com/OpenRootdev/tierlist-studio/releases/tag/v1.0.0

```
git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/OpenRootdev/tierlist-studio
```

### 3. Make your list

Drop or paste images, drag them into tiers, double-click an item to add a note under it, adjust the look in Design, then Export PNG or Copy image.

## Manual setup

- A recent browser. An internet connection when opening it, for Google Fonts and the html2canvas export library loaded from cdnjs.

- Lists are autosaved in the browser's own storage. Save a project file (.json) to move a list to another device.

## Additional notes

- Images stay on the device; nothing is uploaded.

- Snapping can be turned off to place items anywhere inside a tier; hold Alt while dragging to flip it for one move.

## Contents

## Review scope

artifact-checked; reviewed 2026-10-29.

Windows, Chrome: a scripted session added eight images, dragged them into tiers with snapping on and off, added captions, switched design presets and rendered the board export; no console errors. Release ZIP contents checked. Firefox, Safari and touch devices not tested.
