# Submit an agent tool to ToolIndex

> New submissions are welcome. Share a useful tool that an AI agent can actually use.

Canonical page: https://toolindex.org/submit/

Submission form: https://github.com/OpenRootdev/harness-library/issues/new?title=%5BTool%5D+&labels=submission&body=%23%23+Tool+name+and+type%0A%0A%23%23+Source+repository+or+official+documentation%0A%0A%23%23+Purpose+and+category%0A%0A%23%23+Installation+or+connection+steps%0A%0A%23%23+Package+or+service+URL%2C+version%2C+license+or+terms%0A%0A%23%23+Manual+setup%2C+authentication+and+costs%0ADo+not+include+secrets.%0A%0A%23%23+Logo+or+custom+image+%28optional%29%0AImage+URL%2C+source+and+alt+text%2C+or+leave+blank.%0A%0A%23%23+Optional+composition+and+test+evidence%0A

No fork or pull request is required. A GitHub account is needed for the form.

## 1. Share your tool

Open the short GitHub form with a name, source link, tool type and the task it helps an agent do. No fork or pull request is needed.

## 2. Explain how to use it

Link the package, focused source, service or API documentation. State version, license or service terms, installation or connection steps, costs and manual setup.

## 3. Get reviewed and listed

Maintainers check the setup and scope, ask questions in your issue if needed, and publish approved listings. Every listing links directly to its source.

## Before you submit

Bring a source link, tool type, purpose/category, package or service URL, version, license or terms, setup steps and authentication/cost notes. Images, component counts and test evidence are optional. Harneloop is optional.

## Which tools can I submit?

Skills, MCP servers, CLIs, APIs, libraries, plugins, workflows and harnesses are welcome. Explain how an agent uses the tool and what users need to set up.

## Do I need to use Harneloop?

No. Tools can use any agent or framework. Built with Harneloop is an optional attribution, reviewed separately from the listing.

## Can I submit a hosted or commercial tool?

Yes. Link the source or official documentation and service endpoint, explain authentication, pricing and usage terms, and disclose required accounts. For mixed source repositories, identify a focused installation path.

## Does a listing mean it works with every model?

No. Each page states its review scope, evidence and manual prerequisites. Setup reviewed and artifacts checked are different claims; neither guarantees every platform or model.

## Is an image required?

No. A logo or custom image is optional. Without one, the listing uses initials. Only supply images you are entitled to use, with a source link.

## Is submitting free?

Yes. Browsing and submitting to ToolIndex are free. The listed tool may have its own pricing. A GitHub account is needed to open the submission form; no ToolIndex account is required.
