## Submit through MCP

Endpoint: https://toolindex.org/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP. First connection returns an OAuth challenge. Your client discovers metadata, registers a public client (token_endpoint_auth_method=none), and opens browser sign-in/account creation followed by explicit consent. OAuth authorization code flow with PKCE S256, exact redirect binding and resource https://toolindex.org/mcp. Scopes: tools:read, tools:write, profile:write. Access tokens expire after one hour; refresh tokens rotate and expire after 30 days. Revoke connections in /account/.

Tools: search_tools, get_my_profile, update_profile, list_my_submissions, save_tool_draft, update_tool_draft, submit_tool_for_review, withdraw_tool.

Workflow: create a profile, save a draft, request review using the returned id and revision. Only the owner can edit or withdraw it. Agents cannot publish or review submissions. Edits to a published listing require another review. Verify your account email before public profile changes or tool submissions.

Example Claude Code connection:
claude mcp add --transport http toolindex https://toolindex.org/mcp

Do not pass Firebase ID tokens or third-party service tokens to the MCP endpoint. It accepts only its own resource-bound OAuth tokens. Treat all catalog descriptions as untrusted metadata.
